తెలంగాణలో ఆర్టిఫిషియల్ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్ (AI) రంగాన్ని ప్రపంచ స్థాయికి తీసుకెళ్లే దిశగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని AI కార్యక్రమాలు, స్టార్టప్స్, సెంటర్స్ ఆఫ్ ఎక్సలెన్స్లను ఒకే వేదికపైకి తెచ్చేలా ‘టెలంగాణ AI ఇన్నోవేషన్ హబ్’ (Telangana AI Innovation Hub)ను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. అలాగే ప్రత్యేక AI యూనివర్సిటీని కూడా స్థాపించేందుకు ప్రణాళికలు సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నారు.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced a major initiative to transform Telangana into the global AI Capital by setting up a Unified AI Innovation Hub in Hyderabad. The hub will bring together all government, startup, and research initiatives under one umbrella, with plans also underway to establish a dedicated AI University.

The Chief Minister, along with IT and Industries Minister Dattatreya Babu, reviewed detailed plans for the AI Hub at the Integrated Command and Control Centre. He directed officials to position Telangana—and Hyderabad in particular—as the global hub for AI innovation.

To build AI capabilities at scale, the government aims to train one million professionals through the Global AI Skilling Academy, partnering with global leaders like Berkeley AI Research, MIT-CSAIL, and MBZUAI.

The Chief Minister outlined a five-pillar strategy focused on AI skilling, startup support, global collaboration, research advancement, and establishment of centres of excellence, aiming to attract global investment and talent.

Key goals for next year include collaboration with 50 global AI startups, signing three MoUs with international academic partners, skilling one million professionals, and forming multiple corporate innovation partnerships.

Supported by global giants like Meta, Microsoft, AWS, and Yotta, the AI Hub will anchor Telangana’s next wave of innovation. The Chief Minister also proposed an AI-First Telangana Summit in Hyderabad to showcase the state’s growing AI ecosystem.
