చేనేత కార్మికులకు రుణమాఫీ | Telangana Govt Waives Loans for Handloom Workers up to ₹1 Lakh
చేనేత రంగానికి ఊరట కలిగిస్తూ తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. చేనేత కార్మికులకు రూ. లక్ష వరకు తీసుకున్న రుణాలను మాఫీ చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది. ఇందుకోసం ప్రభుత్వం రూ. 33 కోట్లను మంజూరు చేస్తూ జూలై 1న ఉత్తర్వులు విడుదల చేసింది.
In a significant relief to the handloom sector, the Telangana Government has announced a loan waiver of up to ₹1 lakh for eligible handloom workers. An amount of ₹33 crore has been sanctioned, and official orders were issued on July 1.
చేనేత వస్త్రాల ఉత్పత్తి, నిర్వహణ మరియు వృత్తి సంబంధిత రుణాలపై మాఫీ వర్తించనుంది. 2017 ఏప్రిల్ 1 నుంచి 2024 మార్చి 31 మధ్యకాలంలో తీసుకున్న రుణాలపై ఈ పథకం వర్తిస్తుంది. మాఫీ మొత్తం నేరుగా లబ్ధిదారుల బ్యాంకు ఖాతాల్లో జమ అవుతుంది.
This loan waiver covers loans taken for handloom production, operations, and related activities between April 1, 2017 and March 31, 2024. The waived amount will be credited directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts.
రాష్ట్ర, జిల్లా స్థాయిలో కమిటీలను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. రాష్ట్ర స్థాయిలో చేనేత సంచాలకుడు, జిల్లా స్థాయిలో కలెక్టర్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో పర్యవేక్షణ ఉంటుంది. బ్యాంకులు రుణమాఫీ తర్వాత ‘నో డ్యూస్’ ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రం జారీ చేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది.
Committees have been constituted at both the district and state levels to oversee implementation. Post-waiver, banks must issue No Dues Certificates to the beneficiaries.
ఈ పథకం ద్వారా అర్హులైన కార్మికులు తమ జీవనోపాధిని కొనసాగించేందుకు మళ్లీ రుణాలు పొందవచ్చు. అయితే NPA కింద ఉన్న ఖాతాలు, ప్రస్తుతం చేనేత కార్యకలాపాల్లో లేనివారు మళ్లీ రుణాల కోసం అర్హులు కాలేరని ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టం చేసింది.
Eligible workers may apply for fresh loans post-waiver. However, accounts under Non-Performing Assets (NPA) or workers not currently active in the handloom profession will not be eligible for further loans.
