న్యూఢిల్లీ లోని భారత్ మండపం హాల్–Bలో జరిగిన India-AI Impact Summit 2026లో కీలక ప్రసంగం చేసిన తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, కృత్రిమ మేధస్సు వేగంగా మారుతున్న ప్రపంచంలో భారత్కు బలమైన విధానాలు అవసరమని చెప్పారు. దేశ ప్రయోజనాలు, జాతీయ భద్రత దృష్ట్యా AI దుర్వినియోగాన్ని అరికట్టేలా చట్టపరమైన రక్షణలు రూపొందించేందుకు ప్రత్యేక AI మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ఆయన విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
ఆయన ప్రతిపాదనలో GST కౌన్సిల్, నీతి ఆయోగ్ తరహాలో దేశవ్యాప్తంగా విధానాలను సమన్వయం చేసే India AI Council ఏర్పాటు కూడా ఉంది. AI ను సామాజిక న్యాయం, పేదరిక నిర్మూలనకు శక్తివంతమైన సాధనంగా ఉపయోగించాలన్నారు.
India-AI Impact Summit 2026లో మాట్లాడిన రేవంత్ రెడ్డి, AI రంగంలో తెలంగాణతో భాగస్వామ్యం చేయాలని ప్రపంచ నాయకులు, టెక్నాలజీ నిపుణులను ఆహ్వానించారు. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ సహకారంతో దేశానికి AI Startup Village స్థాపించేందుకు రాష్ట్రం సిద్ధంగా ఉందని ప్రకటించారు.
వేగంగా మారుతున్న టెక్నాలజీ కాలంలో సంవత్సరానికి ఒక్కసారి సమావేశాలు సరిపోవని, దేశంలోని వివిధ నగరాల్లో సంవత్సరానికి రెండుసార్లు AI సదస్సులు నిర్వహించాలని సూచించారు. స్టార్టప్లకు మద్దతుగా National AI Fund ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని కూడా కోరారు.
AI విలువ శ్రేణి మొత్తం మీద భారత్ ఆధిపత్యం సాధించాల్సిన అవసరాన్ని ఆయన వివరించారు. చిప్ తయారీ, గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీ, డేటా స్టోరేజ్ నుంచి ప్లాట్ఫామ్లు, భాషా టెక్నాలజీలు, అప్లికేషన్ల వరకు స్పష్టమైన రోడ్మ్యాప్ అవసరమన్నారు. కేంద్రం-రాష్ట్రాల సమన్వయంతో National AI War Room ఏర్పాటు చేసి, దానికి హైదరాబాద్ను ఆతిథ్య నగరంగా ప్రతిపాదించారు.
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా క్యాంపస్లతో ప్రపంచ స్థాయి AI విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని, GPU చిప్ల దేశీయ తయారీని ప్రోత్సహించాలని, యువతకు కొత్త నైపుణ్యాలు అందించేందుకు విస్తృత రీ-స్కిల్లింగ్ కార్యక్రమాలు చేపట్టాలని ఆయన సూచించారు. AI వల్ల ఉద్యోగాలు కోల్పోకుండా, మరిన్ని ఉద్యోగాలు సృష్టించే విధానాలు అవసరమన్నారు.
చరిత్రలో అగ్ని, చక్రం, వ్యవసాయం, విద్యుత్ వంటి ఆవిష్కరణలు మానవ నాగరికతను మార్చినట్లు, AI కూడా ప్రపంచాన్ని మారుస్తోందని చెప్పారు. కొద్ది దేశాలు, సంస్థలు ఆధిపత్యం చెలాయిస్తున్న గ్లోబల్ AI పోటీలో భారత్ వెనుకపడకూడదని హెచ్చరించారు. గూగుల్ సెర్చ్, మ్యాప్స్, ఫేస్బుక్, ఇన్స్టాగ్రామ్, యూట్యూబ్ వంటి సేవలు భారత్లో పుట్టలేదని, AI విప్లవాన్ని మాత్రం భారత్ తప్పక అందిపుచ్చుకోవాలని ఆయన అన్నారు.

He invited global technology leaders to partner with Telangana in AI development and announced the State’s readiness to host an AI Startup Village with support from the Union Government. He also suggested biannual AI summits across Indian cities and a National AI Fund to help start-ups and young innovators build globally competitive companies.
Outlining strategic priorities, he said India must lead across the AI value chain—from chip manufacturing and green energy to data storage, platforms, languages, and applications. He proposed a National AI War Room with Hyderabad as host city, a world-class AI University with campuses nationwide, domestic GPU chip manufacturing, and comprehensive reskilling programmes so AI creates more jobs than it displaces.
Placing AI in historical context, he noted that transformative inventions shaped civilisation and warned that India should not miss the AI revolution. With strong policies, institutions, and investments, India can emerge as a global AI leader rather than just a service provider.
