హైదరాబాద్‌లో నిర్వహించిన మహిళా దినోత్సవ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి Revanth Reddy కీలక ప్రకటన చేశారు. కాలేజీలకు వెళ్లే విద్యార్థినులకు ఉచితంగా ఈవీ స్కూటీలు అందించే అంశాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం పరిశీలిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. మహిళల ఆర్థిక సాధికారతకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తూ, వారికి ఉపయోగపడే పలు పథకాలను త్వరలో ప్రారంభించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

Speaking at an event held in Hyderabad on International Women’s Day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the government is exploring a plan to provide free electric scooters to girl students studying in colleges. He said the initiative aims to improve mobility, safety, and economic empowerment for women.

ప్రజాభవన్‌లో నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమంలో మాట్లాడుతూ మహిళలకు సరైన గుర్తింపు ఇవ్వాలనే దృక్పథంతో ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోందని తెలిపారు. ప్రభుత్వ శాఖల్లో మహిళ అధికారులకు బాధ్యతలు అప్పగిస్తూ నాయకత్వ అవకాశాలు కల్పిస్తున్నామని పేర్కొన్నారు. మహిళల ఆర్థిక శక్తి పెరిగితేనే దేశ అభివృద్ధి సాధ్యమని అన్నారు.

At the event, the Chief Minister noted that empowering women is central to the government’s policy approach. He added that more responsibilities are being entrusted to women officers in various government departments and that increasing women’s financial strength is essential for national development.

హైదరాబాద్‌లో కాలుష్యం పెరుగుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో పర్యావరణ రక్షణకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. నగరంలో ప్రస్తుతం నడుస్తున్న డీజిల్ బస్సులను 2026 డిసెంబర్ నాటికి జిల్లాలకు తరలించి, నగరంలో వంద శాతం ఈవీ బస్సులను ప్రవేశపెట్టే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోందని వెల్లడించారు. నగర రవాణాను ఆధునీకరించి ప్రపంచ నగరాలతో పోటీ పడేలా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.

He also spoke about pollution concerns in Hyderabad and said the government plans to transition the city’s public transport system to electric mobility. Diesel buses operating in the city will be shifted to districts by December 2026, with a target of introducing 100 percent electric buses in Hyderabad to reduce pollution and modernize urban transport.
