Deep-Tech Startups Showcase Innovation at IIT Bombay Summit
ఐఐటీ బాంబేలో జరిగిన డీప్టెక్ ప్రీ-సమ్మిట్లో స్టార్టప్లు, ఆవిష్కర్తల ప్రదర్శనను కేంద్ర విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి ధర్మేంద్ర ప్రధాన్ సందర్శించారు. వివిధ రంగాల్లో ఆవిష్కరణలను పరిశీలించారు.

ముంబైలోని ఐఐటీ బాంబేలో నిర్వహించిన భారత్ ఇన్నోవేట్స్ డీప్టెక్ ప్రీ-సమ్మిట్ 2026లో స్టార్టప్లు, ఆవిష్కర్తల ప్రదర్శన జరిగింది. ఈ ప్రదర్శనను కేంద్ర విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి ధర్మేంద్ర ప్రధాన్ సందర్శించి వివిధ రంగాల్లో రూపొందుతున్న సాంకేతిక పరిష్కారాలను పరిశీలించారు.
ఎనర్జీ, క్లైమేట్ & సస్టైనబిలిటీ, సెమీకండక్టర్లు, స్పేస్ & డిఫెన్స్, హెల్త్కేర్, అడ్వాన్స్డ్ కంప్యూటింగ్, బయోటెక్నాలజీ, మొబిలిటీ & స్మార్ట్ సిటీస్, ఇండస్ట్రీ 4.0 వంటి విభాగాల్లో ఆవిష్కర్తలు తమ పరిశోధన ఆధారిత పరిష్కారాలను ప్రదర్శించారు. ఈ రంగాల్లో భారత స్టార్టప్ వ్యవస్థ అభివృద్ధి దిశగా ముందుకు సాగుతున్నట్లు అధికారులు పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆవిష్కర్తలతో మంత్రి మాట్లాడి, సాంకేతికత ఆధారిత అభివృద్ధి, సుస్థిరతపై దృష్టి పెట్టిన ప్రాజెక్టులను అభినందించారు. ఆలోచనలను పెట్టుబడులతో అనుసంధానం చేయడం, భవిష్యత్కు సిద్ధమైన సంస్థలను నిర్మించడంలో ఇలాంటి వేదికలు కీలకమని తెలిపారు.
భారతదేశంలో స్టార్టప్ ఎకోసిస్టమ్ వేగంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో, పరిశోధన ఆధారిత ఆవిష్కరణలకు మరింత ప్రోత్సాహం అవసరమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
At the Bharat Innovates Deep-Tech Pre-Summit 2026 held at IIT Bombay in Mumbai, a startup and innovation exhibition showcased cutting-edge technologies. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited the exhibition and interacted with innovators from multiple sectors.
The exhibition featured solutions across energy, climate and sustainability, semiconductors, space and defence, healthcare and medtech, advanced computing, biotechnology, mobility and smart cities, and Industry 4.0. These innovations highlighted the growing strength of India’s research-driven startup ecosystem.
During the visit, the minister engaged with innovators and appreciated projects focusing on technology-led development and sustainability. He noted that such platforms are essential for connecting ideas with investment and enabling scalable enterprises.
Officials stated that with the rapid growth of startups in India, promoting deep-tech innovation and strengthening collaboration between research and industry will be key to future development.
