ఏపీ అసెంబ్లీలో 2026–27 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి రూ.3,32,205 కోట్ల వార్షిక బడ్జెట్ను ఆర్థికశాఖ మంత్రి పయ్యావుల కేశవ్ ప్రవేశపెట్టారు. అనంతరం శాఖల వారీగా కేటాయింపులను ప్రకటించారు.
డిప్యూటీ సీఎం పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ నిర్వహించే పంచాయతీరాజ్, గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి శాఖకు రూ.22,942 కోట్లు కేటాయించారు. గ్రామీణ మౌలిక సదుపాయాల అభివృద్ధి, స్థానిక సంస్థల బలోపేతం, గ్రామీణ జీవన ప్రమాణాల మెరుగుదల లక్ష్యంగా ఈ నిధులను వినియోగించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
పర్యావరణం, అటవీ, విజ్ఞాన శాస్త్రం, సాంకేతికత శాఖలకు కలిపి రూ.714 కోట్లు కేటాయించారు. రాష్ట్రాన్ని హరిత ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్గా తీర్చిదిద్దే దిశగా అడవుల సంరక్షణ, ఎడారీకరణ నివారణ, పచ్చదనం పెంపు చర్యలు కొనసాగుతాయని పేర్కొన్నారు. 2030 నాటికి 37 శాతం, 2047 నాటికి 50 శాతం గ్రీన్ కవర్ లక్ష్యంగా చర్యలు చేపట్టనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఈ కేటాయింపులతో గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ రంగాల్లో ప్రాధాన్యత కొనసాగుతుందని ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపింది.
Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav presented the ₹3,32,205-crore AP Budget for 2026–27 in the State Assembly and announced department-wise allocations.
An allocation of ₹22,942 crore was made to the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development department headed by Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. The funds are aimed at improving rural infrastructure, strengthening local bodies, and enhancing living standards in villages.
The Environment, Forest, Science and Technology departments under his charge received ₹714 crore. The government said it will focus on forest conservation, combating desertification, and increasing green cover. Targets include 37% green cover by 2030 and 50% by 2047.
The allocations underline continued priority to rural development and environmental protection in the state budget.
