నకిలీ మద్యం వ్యవహారంపై కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం సీరియస్ అయింది. వినియోగదారుల భద్రతను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని త్వరలోనే ‘ఏపీఏటీఎస్’ (APATS) అనే ప్రత్యేక మొబైల్ యాప్ను ప్రవేశపెట్టనుంది. ఈ యాప్ ద్వారా మద్యం సీసాపై ఉన్న క్యూ ఆర్ కోడ్ను స్కాన్ చేస్తే, ఆ మద్యం ఎప్పుడు తయారైంది, నాణ్యత ప్రమాణాలు, గడువు తేదీ వంటి వివరాలు వెంటనే తెలుసుకోవచ్చు.
The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to tackle the issue of counterfeit liquor by introducing a dedicated mobile app named APATS (Andhra Pradesh Anti-Toxic Substances). The app allows consumers to verify liquor authenticity instantly by scanning the bottle’s QR code, revealing manufacturing details, quality standards, and expiry date in seconds.
ఏపీలో ఇటీవల ములకలచెరువు నకిలీ మద్యం ఘటన రాజకీయ చర్చలకు దారితీసింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ప్రభుత్వం నకిలీ మద్యం తయారీ, విక్రయాలపై కఠిన చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని నిర్ణయించింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఈ యాప్ను రూపొందించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra stated that APATS will serve as a transparent tool to safeguard public health and prevent adulterated liquor sales. The app’s rollout is expected to cause major disruption among fake liquor racketeers. However, officials have not yet announced the exact launch date.
