ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ కూటమి ప్రభుత్వం రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రతి అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాన్ని అన్న క్యాంటీన్ల ద్వారా ఆహార భద్రత కవచంలోకి తీసుకురానుంది. ఇప్పటికే ఉన్న 113 క్యాంటీన్లతో పాటు, మిగిలిన 62 నియోజకవర్గాల్లో జనవరిలో కొత్తగా క్యాంటీన్లు ప్రారంభించనున్నారు. డిసెంబర్ నాటికి వీటి ఏర్పాటును పూర్తి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నారు.
The Andhra Pradesh coalition government has decided to expand its flagship food security initiative—Anna Canteens—across all assembly constituencies. While 113 canteens are currently operational, 62 new units are set to launch in January, with infrastructure preparation expected to be completed by December.
ప్రభుత్వం రూ.5కే నాణ్యమైన అల్పాహారం, భోజనం అందించడంతో ప్రజల నుంచి విశేష స్పందన లభిస్తోంది. ఒక్కో క్యాంటీన్ రోజుకు మూడు పూటలకూ 900 మందికి పైగా ఆహారం అందిస్తున్నట్లు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.
Each Anna Canteen is estimated to serve over 900 meals daily across three sessions—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—for just ₹5, ensuring accessibility and affordability for the poor and working-class communities.
