అయన అన్నారు: “ప్రజాస్వామ్యంలో గెలుపు–ఓటములు సహజం. ప్రతిపక్షంలో ఉన్నవారు మరింత బాధ్యతగా వ్యవహరించాలి. సభకు వచ్చి ప్రజల కోసం మాట్లాడాలి. సభకు రాకుండా ప్రశ్నలు వేయడం ఎందుకు? సభకురారు, ఎమ్మెల్యేలను రానివ్వరు, కానీ క్వశ్చన్లు మాత్రం పంపుతున్నారు. ప్రజలు దీన్ని ఖండించాలి” అని జగన్ను ఉద్దేశించి వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.

In the AP Assembly session on Thursday, during a short discussion on law and order, Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu delivered sharp remarks against the conduct of YSRCP leaders. He said that threatening comments made in press meets and on social media — such as “we will return to power, we will finish you, we will cut throats, rappaarappa dialogues” — were inappropriate and dangerous.
The Speaker observed, “I have been in politics since NTR’s time, but I have never seen such a situation. Even when we lost, we never spoke like this. Winning and losing are part of democracy. Those in opposition must behave more responsibly. They should attend the Assembly and speak for the people. How can they send questions while skipping the House? You don’t come, you don’t allow your MLAs to come, but you send questions. People need to condemn this.”
Directly addressing Jagan, the Speaker questioned his approach and highlighted the absence of accountability from YSRCP members. He also recalled the example of former leader Gouthu Latchanna, who, despite his party winning 64 seats, gave up the status of opposition leader when members left. “Now, without numbers, they ask why status is not given and even go to court. The Assembly is a temple, I am its priest, and decisions here are taken as per rules,” Ayyanna Patrudu clarified.
